To encourage underrepresented communities in FIRST robotics the Society of Women Engineers and Apple offer grants to any team over 40% female or nonbinary. The original grant amount was 5k. They then proceeded to send another 11k due to the lack of teams and there being leftover money. Due to their generosity we have been in close contact with them constantly sending updates about our education and season. Recognizing our team as a model. We team they sent us an additional 45k. We are forever grateful for the impact they have made to our team and look forward to further partnership.
